Romanian Tour December
Michael Woods will once again be travelling to Romania in December - this time to prepare for Music for the People concerts in Valcea (Eye of the Tiger) and Bucharest (Musical Gems and Vienna with Love). This will be a continuation of the so-called Musika Pentru Toti series which he began last year in Bucharest and Valcea.
Concerts will include spectactular presentations of music from film, theater and the recording studio. Previously, these Music for the People concerts have included all the big John Williams hits - such as Star Wars, Superman, Raiders of the Lost Ark and great American arrangements of Rocky, Hey Jude, Magic to Do, etc - with the all-out fun of traditional jazz pieces like South Rampart Street Parade. Large orchestral cross-over works such as Symphonic Pink Floyd have also been performed.
These contemporary classics are mixed with some pieces from the more traditional classical repertoire to provide excitement, entertainment and education for audiences of all ages and musical backgrounds. Such concerts are ideally suited to both indoor and outdoor performances.
