Millennium Opera, Carmen
Millennium Opera, Melbourne has recently performed Bizet's Carmen with orchestra in Melbourne, Geelong and Healesville.
The cast included Kathryn Grey (Carmen), Stephen Smith (Don Jose), Emily Szabo (Micaela) and David Ekstein (Escamillo). The minor roles were filled by James Penn, Jayne Pickering, Kerrie Bolton and Kimberly Colman.
The season was successful - with both the Geelong (The Potato Shed) and Healesville (The Memo Theatre) arts organizations inviting the company back for next year.
