Melbourne City Opera - Puccini's La Rondine, November
I very much enjoyed working with the soloists and chorus during preparation for this beautiful Puccini Opera, performed in early November. As with all of Puccini's works, it contains some of the most beautiful Italian Operatic melodies, wonderful, clever duets and rich orchestral writing. I'm particularly grateful to Joseph Talia OAM, the company's Artistic Director, for inviting me to be part of this production. The soloists were generally wonderful in their roles and the full chorus sound in the second act was brilliant.
